Belgotex introduces Accelerate Edit - a state-of-the-art flooring solution designed for heavy commercial use in line with EN 1307 standards. This unique flooring product features a tufted multi-scroll loop pile construction, which seamlessly combines durability with aesthetic appeal. The heart of Accelerate Edit lies in its Heavy Commercial SDN Tufted Loop Pile Bitumen Tile structure. Staying true to Belgotex's commitment towards the environment, certain colours incorporate Stainproof SDX Eco Yarn, and there's an option to include EcoBac S3 backing upon request. Constructed with Stainproof SDX (Solution Dyed Nylon-6), this flooring solution offers remarkable resilience and resistance to staining. Its pile height oscillates between 2 and 3.5mm, while the total thickness with the NexBac SX backing stands at approximately 5mm. The flooring's total mass is a substantial 3500g/m2. The standard tile size is 50x50cm, and NexBac SX is the standard backing type, offering both consistency and ease in installation. The machine gauge stands at 1/10 inch, providing roughly 60 stitches per 10cm for a strong, tightly woven product. In terms of safety, Accelerate Edit meets stringent fire classification standards, such as 2 (SANS 10177-4), Bfl-s1 (EN 13501), and Class 1 (ASTM E 648-08). It also demonstrates high colour fastness to light and rubbing, both in terms of colour change and staining, and maintains an electrostatic propensity of about 2kV. The product features permanent static control, further enhancing its commercial space suitability. Addressing acoustics and thermal comfort, the flooring offers a sound absorption of 0.15 (EN ISO 354:2003) and sound insulation of about 18dB (ISO 717-2). Its thermal resistance stands at 0.0638m2.K/W (ISO 8302). Passing the VOC testing as per GBCSA/GBCA criteria, Accelerate Edit ensures low emission levels, reinforcing its eco-friendly stance. The flooring is rated A for intense use under castor chairs as per NF EN 985 standards, exemplifying its practicality and robustness. Offering a 5-year guarantee and a 15-year limited wear warranty, the product's quality and durability are testified. Besides the 50x50cm standard tiles, it provides versatile format options such as 50x50cm EcoBac - S3 tiles, 25x100cm SX/EcoBac - S3 plank, and 100x100cm SX/EcoBac - S3 tiles, provided minimum production quantities are met. For versatile installation, Accelerate Edit tiles and planks can be arranged in multiple configurations like Tessellated, Ashlar, Random Ashlar, Brick, Monolithic, and Colour Mix. To ensure longevity where castor wheels are used, the application of Carpet protector mats is recommended by Belgotex.
