The Accelerate Shift from Belgotex is a premium flooring product designed for heavy commercial use and complies with the EN 1307 standards. It features a Tufted Multi Scroll Loop Pile construction that offers a unique blend of aesthetics and durability. At its core, the Accelerate Shift uses a Heavy Commercial SDN Tufted Loop Pile Bitumen Tile. In some colours, Belgotex incorporates Stainproof SDX Eco Yarn, emphasizing the company's dedication to environmental responsibility. The product also offers the option of EcoBac S3 backing upon request. The product is constructed from Stainproof SDX (Solution Dyed Nylon-6), ensuring high durability and resistance to staining. The pile height of this flooring ranges from 2 to 3.5mm, and the total thickness (with NexBac SX backing) is approximately 5mm. The total mass of the flooring is about 3500g/m2, which is a testament to its robustness. The standard tile size for Accelerate Shift is 50x50cm. The standard backing type is NexBac SX, ensuring consistency across installations. The machine gauge is 1/10 inch, and the design includes about 60 stitches per 10cm, resulting in a tightly knit, sturdy surface. In terms of safety, Accelerate Shift meets significant fire classification standards, including 2 (SANS 10177-4), Bfl-s1 (EN 13501), and Class 1 (ASTM E 648-08). The flooring exhibits excellent colour fastness to light, rubbing (colour change), and rubbing (staining). Its electrostatic propensity is about 2kV, and it comes with permanent static control, essential for commercial environments. The product also performs well acoustically and thermally, with a sound absorption value of 0.15 (EN ISO 354:2003) and sound insulation around 18dB (ISO 717-2). Its thermal resistance is at 0.0638m2.K/W (ISO 8302), which ensures a comfortable environment. VOC testing compliance (as per GBCSA/GBCA standards) underlines the product's eco-friendly nature. For heavy use areas, Accelerate Shift is classified as A for intense use under castor chairs, according to NF EN 985 standards, showcasing its durability. Belgotex provides a 5-year guarantee and a 15-year limited wear warranty for this product, asserting its commitment to long-lasting quality. Along with the standard 50x50cm tiles, customers can also request 50x50cm EcoBac - S3 tiles, 25x100cm SX/EcoBac - S3 planks, and 100x100cm SX/EcoBac - S3 tiles, provided minimum production quantities are met. The Accelerate Shift tiles and planks can be arranged in various patterns like Tessellated, Ashlar, Random Ashlar, Brick, Monolithic, and Colour Mix, enhancing the visual impact. To extend the life of the product in areas where castor wheels are used, Belgotex recommends the use of Carpet protector mats. The flooring product carries a Green Tag A level plus certification, a 15-year warranty, and a 5-year guarantee.
