Belgotex introduces Archetypes, a flooring range that brings together the building blocks of classic patterned floors with the appeal and performance benefits of modern materials. This unique range offers five distinctive wood looks that can be mixed and matched for customised designs. The mid-sized rectangular Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) planks can be arranged to create retro parquet-inspired look or a timeless herringbone design, making it a perfect fit for the 21st-century homes and commercial spaces. The Archetypes range is designed for a Dry Back (Stick Down) type of installation and is classified for Heavy Residential and Light Commercial use. The total mass is approximately 3550 g/m (Nom) or 104.7 oz/yd (Nom). The wear layer thickness is about 0.3 mm or 0.012 inches, and the total thickness stands at approximately 2 mm, within a tolerance of 0.5. Each tile or plank measures 609.6 x 152.4 mm or 24 x 6 inches, and each box contains a quantity of about 2.97 m or 3.55 yd. Further diving into specifications, each box contains 32 planks. The Archetypes range is fire classified as Bfl-s1 according to EN 13501-1, ensuring a high level of safety. The slip resistance is more than 0.3, as per EN 13893, providing a safe and secure flooring solution. The flooring exhibits excellent stain and chemical resistance according to EN 423 and is suitable for use with castor chairs, given the use of soft non-staining wheels, as per EN 425. The flooring is compatible with underfloor heating systems, up to a maximum temperature of 27°C. The Archetypes range has low VOC emissions and is certified with Floorscore SCS-FS-03336. In terms of warranty, Belgotex offers a 15-year residential and a 7-year light commercial warranty, affirming the range's durability and quality. Sustainability is a critical feature of this range, as evidenced by its Floorscore, Declare, Health Product Declaration, and Environmental Product Declaration certifications. The Archetypes range is available in five aesthetic choices: Aremberg, Bordeaux, Chantilly, Monticello, and Versailles. Belgotex recommends that the Archetypes range be installed following the SANS 10070 fitting code of practice to ensure optimum results.
